Georgia Natural Gas Marks 1 Billion-Pound CO₂e Offset with Free Electronics Recycling Event

Georgia Natural Gas will host a free electronics recycling event at Atlanta’s Lenox Square on April 25 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., accepting phones, computers, TVs, monitors, printers and more. Its Greener Life program has now offset nearly one billion pounds of CO₂e since inception through customer-funded carbon neutrality.

On April 25 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Georgia Natural Gas will host a free electronics recycling event outside Lenox Square’s Dining Pavilion at 3393 Peachtree Road NE in Atlanta, partnering with eWaste/ePlanet to collect cell phones, computers, televisions, monitors, printers, radios and fax machines.

2. Milestone Achievement

This marks the 16th annual Earth Day recycling event sponsored by Georgia Natural Gas and celebrates the Greener Life program reaching a cumulative offset of nearly one billion pounds of CO₂e, reflecting customer contributions toward carbon neutrality.

3. Greener Life Program

Greener Life allows customers to neutralize their natural gas emissions for a small monthly fee; attendees can learn how to enroll onsite and enter giveaways, including a chance to win a $1,000 Simon gift card redeemable at Lenox Square retailers and restaurants.
