R&D expense fell to $3.11 million from $4.73 million on lower costs tied to discontinued BARDA work and reduced GEO-CM04S1 clinical spending.
Cash was about $3.1 million at June 30, 2026, roughly flat versus Dec. 31, 2025.

GeoVax posted a Q2 net loss of $4.43 million, or $0.97 a share, narrowing from $5.37 million, or $8.74 a year earlier.
Revenue was nil, versus $852,282 a year earlier after BARDA terminated the GEO-CM04S1 contract for convenience in April 2025.
