GeoVax Q2 net loss narrows 17.56% to $4.43 million; revenue turns to no revenue

Second-quarter results and cash position
GeoVax posted a Q2 net loss of $4.43 million, narrowing from a year earlier as operating loss improved to $4.44 million.
Revenue fell to no revenue from a government contract; R&D expense dropped 34.2% to $3.11 million, and G&A slid 13.7% to $1.33 million.
For the six months, net loss narrowed to $9.69 million. Operating cash outflow improved to $7.2 million, while financing inflows totaled $7.25 million.
Cash and cash equivalents were $3.14 million at June 30. Management expects funding to last into September 2026, while citing going-concern uncertainty.
