NVDA•Agile Robots plans to produce 1,000 to 2,000 humanoid robots next year under a partnership with Nvidia, CEO Zhaopeng Chen said. Production of two models is expected to begin by the end of this year.
Agile Robots plans to produce 1,000 to 2,000 of its petite humanoid robots next year, targeting universities and corporate research labs. Production of the Agile ONE S and ONE SN models is expected to begin by the end of this year, Chen said; Stanford University and ETH Zurich are among potential customers.
The ONE SN model has a jointly specified configuration that includes dexterous hands, cameras and Nvidia's Jetson Thor onboard computer. The robots are 1.4 meters tall and weigh about 34 kilograms. Nvidia product director Spencer Huang said the standardized pre-configuration could save researchers two or three months of integrating separately purchased components.
