1. Trial to be discontinued
Geron will discontinue the Phase 3 IMpactMF trial of imetelstat in patients with myelofibrosis relapsed or refractory to JAK inhibitors. The independent monitoring committee found the trial was unlikely to meet its primary goal of improving overall survival. No new safety signals changed imetelstat’s known safety profile or required additional monitoring. Geron plans detailed data analysis and expects to present findings to the scientific community at a future date.
