Getty Images will deploy a 30-member team to capture over 25,000 images across six sports at five venues during the Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Winter Games from March 6–15. As Official Photographic Agency for the International Paralympic Committee, Getty Images extends its licensing ties with Team USA and LA28.

1. Official Paralympic Partnership

Getty Images will serve as the Official Photographic Agency for the International Paralympic Committee at the Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Winter Games, marking the 50th anniversary of the Winter Paralympics.

2. Team Deployment and Coverage

The company will deploy 30 photographers, editors and operations staff to capture live coverage from the Opening Ceremony on March 6 through the Closing Ceremony on March 15, delivering over 25,000 images globally.

3. Licensing and Brand Expansion

In addition to its Paralympic role, Getty Images continues as the Official Photographic Licensee for Team USA and the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games, reinforcing its partnerships across major sports events.

4. Event Scale and Athlete Representation

The games will feature around 550 athletes from 50 National Paralympic Committees competing in 79 medal events, with Getty Images highlighting athletic achievements and advancing disability representation through specialized collections.
