Gilat Peru signs USD 14 million Ayacucho fiber-optic broadband contract

The buildout calls for more than 1,060 kilometers of optical fiber, along with network monitoring, end-user equipment, local networks and training.
The project is designed to connect 273 public institutions, including schools and healthcare facilities, serving about 20,000 residents across 109 localities.
Ayacucho broadband contract signed
Gilat Perú signed a USD 14 million deal with Ayacucho’s regional government for a fiber-optic broadband rollout in southern Ayacucho.
Delivery is targeted within 18 months under Peru’s Works for Taxes program.
