Gildan has secured a spot on Canada’s Best 50 Corporate Citizens list for the fifth straight year, distinguishing itself as one of only two firms in the Textiles and Clothing Manufacturing sector. This ranking evaluates companies with over $1 billion in annual revenue based on three equally weighted metrics: share of sustainable investments, share of sustainable revenues, and sustainable-revenue momentum from 2022 to 2024.
In its third edition, TIME’s Most Sustainable Companies ranking assessed over 5,800 of the world’s largest firms across more than 20 performance indicators, including emissions reduction and reporting standards compliance. Gildan emerged among the top 750 globally, one of just 19 Canadian companies recognized and one of only two in the Apparel, Footwear & Sporting Goods subcategory.
