Phase 3 trial results

Gilead posted a press release on Phase 3 ISLEND-1 and ISLEND-2 results for once-weekly oral islatravir/lenacapavir in virologically suppressed adults.

Week 48 primary endpoints showed noninferior viral suppression versus Biktarvy in ISLEND-1, and versus daily standard-of-care regimens in ISLEND-2.

Presentation and filing plans

Data are slated for late-breaking presentation at AIDS 2026 on July 29, and the results are positioned to support regulatory filings.
