1. Conference presentations
Gilead Sciences will present results from more than 50 HIV studies at HIV Glasgow 2026, scheduled for November 8-11. Phase 3 ISLEND presentations will assess efficacy, safety and patient preferences for investigational once-weekly oral islatravir/lenacapavir.
2. Other study findings
PURPOSE 5 findings show higher persistence with twice-yearly lenacapavir than daily oral Truvada for HIV prevention in Britain and France. ARTISTRY analyses will examine treatment responses after switches to daily bictegravir/lenacapavir, which gained US approval as Bixlenvo in August 2026. Early-stage GS-3242 results will support evaluation of a potential twice-yearly injectable HIV treatment with lenacapavir.
