Gilinski Group to become GeoPark's controlling shareholder
Gilinski Group is expected to become GeoPark's controlling shareholder, holding about 56.3% of outstanding common shares via a Venezuela entry transaction.
The stake could rise to about 58.4% if it receives up to 5,400,000 additional shares under a pre-close adjustment mechanism.
The control shift is tied to GeoPark issuing 42,100,000 shares at US$12.22 each to acquire 95% of the CPP holding company.
