Glean Hits $300M ARR, Intensifying AI Search Competition for Atlassian
TEAM•Glean has tripled its annual recurring revenue to $300 million in just 15 months following a Series F valuation of $7.2 billion. Its proprietary context graph technology reduces AI token consumption, bolstering its enterprise AI search appeal against rivals like Atlassian.
1. Glean Achieves $300M ARR
Glean reported $300 million in annual recurring revenue, a threefold increase from $100 million just 15 months earlier. The seven-year-old startup reached this milestone after raising $150 million in a Series F round that valued the company at $7.2 billion.
2. Intensifying Enterprise AI Search Competition
Glean once had no direct competitors but now faces competition from major tech firms, including Google, Microsoft, OpenAI, Anthropic, Salesforce and Atlassian. As these rivals develop their own enterprise AI search tools, Glean emphasizes first-mover advantage and product depth.
3. Context Graph Cuts AI Token Costs
Glean’s context graph connects to internal enterprise systems to deliver only the information needed for tasks, resulting in significantly fewer AI operations and reduced token usage. This efficiency has become a key selling point as companies seek to curb rising AI compute expenses.
