Global Ship Lease exercised options for two containerships costing about $163 million, with deliveries scheduled for Q4 2029.

1. Newbuild order

The two mid-size, ultra-high-reefer, wide-beam containerships are scheduled for delivery in Q4 2029. The order brings Global Ship Lease’s orderbook to 17 ships, and the company is in talks with prospective charterers about employment upon delivery.
