Crude steel output from China, the world's top producer and consumer of the metal, rose 0.4% to 83.7 million tonnes in June, the data showed.

Global crude steel production in June rose 1.7% from a year earlier to 155.7 million tonnes, World Steel Association data showed on Thursday.
