Globus Maritime expands fleet to 11 vessels with delivery of Glbs Thalia
GLBS•Globus Maritime took delivery of the Glbs Thalia, bringing its dry bulk fleet to 11 vessels and total carrying capacity to approximately 808,622 deadweight tons.
1. Fleet expansion
The 2026-built Ultramax carrier, constructed at Nihon Shipyard in Japan, has approximately 64,000 deadweight tons of capacity. It is the company's fifth Ultramax newbuilding; the acquisition was previously announced on August 23, 2023.
