Glucotrack Gains USPTO Patent Allowance for Implantable CBGM, Bolsters IP Portfolio
GCTK•The USPTO issued a Notice of Allowance for Glucotrack’s patent application titled Methods and Systems for Continuously Monitoring the Glucose Level of a Patient, covering its implantable CBGM platform. The allowed claims join three CBGM patents issued in late 2025, covering intravascular sensing leads, electrode configurations and three-year implantation methods.
1. USPTO Notice of Allowance
On July 8, 2026, the US Patent and Trademark Office issued a Notice of Allowance for Glucotrack’s patent application titled Methods and Systems for Continuously Monitoring the Glucose Level of a Patient, formally approving claims for its fully implantable continuous blood glucose monitoring (CBGM) platform.
2. Expanded Patent Protection
This allowance builds upon three CBGM patents granted in late 2025 (US 12,453,494; US 12,458,257; US 12,458,258) and secures intellectual property covering intravascular sensing leads, electrode configurations and three-year implantation methods designed for long-term glucose measurement within the vasculature.
3. Commercialization Implications
The strengthened IP portfolio is critical as Glucotrack advances its battery-free, fully implantable CBGM system through clinical testing and toward commercialization, offering up to three years of continuous, direct blood glucose monitoring without an external wearable component.
