Among other metals, spot silver XAG= steadied at $63.63 per ounce, platinum XPT= edged 0.1% lower to $1,771.85 while palladium XPD= rose nearly 1% to $1,300.75.
Gold slips ahead of Fed decision
Sept. 16 (Reuters) - Gold prices slipped for a third consecutive session on Wednesday as market participants braced for the U.S. Federal Reserve's policy decision due later in the day.

Spot gold XAU= was down 0.3% at $4,279.89 per ounce, as of 0037 GMT. U.S. gold futures GCcv1 for December delivery were also down 0.3% at $4,320.30.
