Goodyear to Deliver Lunar Tires for Pegasus LTV Missions Starting 2028
GT•Goodyear will supply advanced lunar tires for the Pegasus Lunar Terrain Vehicle supporting NASA's Artemis missions starting in 2028. These tires are engineered for extreme temperature swings, rocky surfaces and low-gravity conditions to enable extended astronaut exploration at the lunar South Pole.

Goodyear will supply advanced tires for Lunar Outpost’s Pegasus LTV beginning in 2028 under NASA’s Artemis program, marking its return to lunar exploration since Apollo missions.
2. Tire Engineering and Capabilities
The tires feature a modular, non-pneumatic design capable of withstanding temperature swings from –250°F to 250°F, rocky terrain and low gravity to support extended vehicle operations at the lunar South Pole.
