A cohort of 37 engineers and researchers from Google submitted an amicus brief in federal court backing Anthropic’s request for a temporary restraining order to halt the Defense Department’s supply-chain risk designation. They contend that the designation threatens contractors relying on Anthropic’s AI models and urged the court to pause enforcement until judicial review is complete.

2. Partnership with Tesla on Electricity Solutions

Google has teamed up with Tesla to create consumer-focused tools designed to address rising electricity costs. The initiative will leverage Google’s analytics capabilities alongside Tesla’s energy storage and management systems to provide optimized billing insights and energy consumption recommendations.
