GoPro agrees to merge with Starman Optical in deal valuing GoPro at USD 285 million

GoPro to merge with Starman Optical in recapitalization
GoPro agreed to merge with privately held optical-photonics group Starman Optical in a recapitalization aimed at broadening its product portfolio.
Shareholders will receive USD 285 million in cash, or USD 1.14 per share, subject to a net working capital adjustment.
