1. GoPro and ASUS Unveil ProArt GoPro Edition Laptop

GoPro, Inc. has partnered with ASUS to launch the ASUS ProArt GoPro Edition, a co-branded 13-inch convertible laptop engineered around GoPro creators’ workflows. The device features a 360° touchscreen chassis that flips between tent, tablet or laptop modes, weighs 1.39 kg and measures 15.8 mm in thickness. Its black metal finish and reusable packaging—designed to double as a carrying case for cameras and accessories—underscore GoPro’s focus on portability and durability for on-location shooting and editing.

2. AI-Driven Editing and Streamlined Workflows

The laptop integrates a dedicated AI accelerator to handle high-resolution and 360° video smoothly, cutting rendering times by up to 50% compared with previous gener- ative editing setups. GoPro’s new StoryCube Windows app unifies GoPro Cloud access with 360° footage management, offering one-tap syncing, AI-powered sorting and an instant hotkey to launch GoPro Player. This seamless capture-to-publish experience is designed to eliminate manual file transfers and speed up turnaround for content creators.

3. Availability and Strategic Impact

Scheduled for global release in Q1 2026 and arriving at select U.S. retailers in spring 2026, the ProArt GoPro Edition represents GoPro’s first venture into branded computing hardware. Rick Loughery, GoPro’s SVP of Global Marketing, highlighted that the collaboration “gives creators a laptop that’s fast, flexible and built for the way they work.” With this initiative, GoPro aims to cement its role beyond action cameras, driving future creator-focused products and services under its “Be the Hero of Your Story” campaign.
