GRAINS-Corn hits 3-year high as traders eye lower US production
CORN•Soybeans fall on weaker crude and soyoil
Soybeans fell, pressured by falling crude oil, but losses were limited by strong export demand for U.S. beans.
Soybeans Sv1 ended 15-1/4 cents lower at $12.24-1/4 a bushel.
Weak soyoil prices dragged on the soy complex on Monday. Soyoil fell on spillover weakness from crude oil that slipped more than $1 a barrel as investors took profits after recent gains.
Wheat gains on Black Sea export concerns
Wheat hit its highest in around two years as tit-for-tat attacks by Russia and Ukraine curtailed exports from Black Sea ports, though wheat futures pared gains later in the session.
CBOT wheat Wv1 settled 1/4 cent higher at $6.99-1/2 a bushel, paring gains after hitting a roughly two-year high.
