Granite-Super JV wins $324.8 million NEORSD Big Creek Tunnel contract in Ohio
GVA•Granite won a $324.8 million contract through a joint venture to build the Big Creek Tunnel sewer project in Cleveland, Ohio. Construction is scheduled to start in fall 2026, with completion expected in winter 2030.
1. Project scope and timeline
The project includes 22,300 feet of 20-foot-diameter tunnel, supporting shafts, related structures, sitework, restoration and utilities. It targets the elimination of 550 million gallons of combined sewer overflows per year under NEORSD’s Project Clean Lake program.
