Granite wins $16 million SR 202 widening and trestle replacement contract in Washington
GVA•Granite Construction won an approximately $16 million contract from Woodinville, Washington, to widen SR 202 and replace a railroad trestle. Construction is scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026, with completion anticipated in the fourth quarter of 2027.
1. Project details
The project will expand SR 202/131st Avenue NE from five lanes to eight between NE 177th Street and NE 175th Street. A new arched pedestrian bridge will replace the existing railroad trestle. The contract will be included in fourth-quarter 2026 CAP.
