Gravity launches Ragnarok Zero global OBT with unified servers and Germany map reveal
Gravity Game Unite kicked off the Open Beta Test for Ragnarok Zero: Global on May 22, offering auto-hunt, six classic job classes up to level 50, and 20,000 daily Kafra Points. The company plans a unified SEA-Europe-Oceania server at launch alongside a new Germany-themed map preview.
1. OBT Launch and Duration
The Open Beta Test for Ragnarok Zero: Global began on May 22 and will run through May 28 at 7:59 AM Malaysia Time. Eligible players across Southeast Asia, Europe and Oceania can sign up on the official website, download the PC client and participate without restrictions.
2. Gameplay Enhancements
The beta preserves classic 2D pixel art and six original job classes—Swordsman, Mage, Merchant, Acolyte, Thief and Archer—while adding auto-hunt, simplified travel routes and an expanded camera view for levels up to 50. The UI supports seven languages and modernized visual assets for a smoother first-time experience.
3. Participant Incentives and Feedback
Daily check-ins award 20,000 Kafra Points, while bug reporting and player surveys grant exclusive titles and in-game items at official launch. Social media screenshot events, GM boss summons and a Pioneer title reward box further engage global users and help refine game quality based on real-time feedback.
4. Future Content and Server Structure
At official release, Ragnarok Zero: Global will introduce a unified server environment for SEA, Europe and Oceania—the first PC Ragnarok IP title to do so—alongside a Germany-themed map. User-generated content tools and subscription-based exclusive costumes are also slated for launch enhancements.
