1. Gray Media Elevates Kristy Santiago to Lead KFVS and WQWQ-LD
Gray Media, Inc. has appointed Kristy Santiago as General Manager of KFVS (CBS and CW) in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and WQWQ-LD (Telemundo) in Paducah, Kentucky, marking her first leadership role within the company. Santiago brings over two decades of station management and sales experience, having previously overseen combined operations for three network affiliates—KION (CBS), KMUV (Telemundo) and KCBA (CW)—in the Monterey, California market. During her tenure there, she drove double-digit revenue growth and led the launch of three new network affiliations in competitive markets. Her prior leadership roles in Grand Junction, Colorado and Palm Springs, California also yielded significant audience share gains, with local ratings increases of up to 15 percent in key demographics. Beyond station performance, Santiago has held board positions with the California Broadcasters Association, Girls Inc. and Goodwill Central Coast, reflecting her commitment to industry best practices and community engagement. This strategic hire strengthens Gray Media’s executive bench as the company continues to serve 113 television markets and reach roughly 37 percent of U.S. television households.
