Greenland Mines completes 2026 Skaergaard field program, evaluates gallium and vanadium by-products
GRML•Greenland Mines completed 4,480 meters of drilling across 17 holes and bulk sampling of more than 105 tons at its Skaergaard project, while evaluating potential by-products including gallium and vanadium.
1. Field program completed
The 2026 program at the Skaergaard palladium-platinum-gold project included 4,480 meters of diamond drilling across 17 holes, including the first HQ core for metallurgical variability testing. Bulk sampling increased to more than 105 tons to support flowsheet development and potential pilot-scale processing studies.
2. Resource and by-products
The cited resource base is 15.00 million ounces of PdEq indicated and 17.49 million ounces inferred, covering about one-quarter to one-third of the intrusion. The company expanded its evaluation to possible vanadium-bearing titanomagnetite, iron, titanium and gallium by-products, with no economic credits assigned.
