Griffon gains after quarterly profit tops estimates

Shares of U.S. building products maker Griffon (GFF.N) rose more than 7% to $100.56 in early trading after the company beat third-quarter adjusted profit estimates, buoyed by robust demand in its Home & Building products unit.
The stock was up 37.6% year to date, including the session move.
Q3 profit and revenue top estimates
Griffon reported third-quarter adjusted profit of $1.51 per share, above Wall Street estimates of $1.35 per share, according to data compiled by LSEG.
It also posted quarterly revenue of $481.37 million, topping estimates of $457.77 million.
