Group 1 Automotive adds ex-Ulta CEO Dave Kimbell to board, audit committee

Group 1 Automotive appointed David C. Kimbell to its board, effective Aug. 10, 2026.
Kimbell will join the audit committee, and the board expands to 10 directors from nine.
He most recently served as CEO of Ulta Beauty, leading revenue growth to $11.3 billion in 2024 from $6.2 billion in 2020.
Kimbell previously held Ulta roles including president and chief merchandising and marketing officer. He is also a Best Buy director.
