GT Biopharma has embedded AI-based sequence and structural analysis tools into its drug discovery and protein-engineering workflows to identify candidate NK cell engagers and multi-domain proteins with optimal binding, stability and developability profiles.
2. Pipeline Expansion Goals
The company anticipates that these efficiency gains will enable it to nominate and push multiple new drug candidates into pre-IND development in 2027, accelerating its pipeline replenishment while reducing preclinical costs.
3. TriKE Platform Overview
At the core of GT Biopharma's technology is the Tri-specific Killer Engager (TriKE) platform, which designs multi-domain proteins to direct natural killer cells against cancer targets without antigen matching, leveraging AI to optimize molecular structure and function.
4. Current Clinical Programs
GT Biopharma's lead candidate GTB-3650 is in a Phase 1 trial for CD33-expressing blood cancers and GTB-5550 is in Phase 1 for B7-H3-expressing solid tumors, with the first GTB-5550 patient dosed in May 2026.
