GT Biopharma’s $13M Market Cap and Three TriKE Trials Progress
NKTX•GT Biopharma’s $13 million market cap belies three TriKE immunotherapy candidates now dosing patients under an exclusive University of Minnesota license. Lead GTB-3650 has completed Cohort 4 with eight patients and no dose-limiting toxicities, and GTB-5550’s first patient has been dosed in a subcutaneous B7-H3 solid tumor trial.
1. Market Valuation and TriKE Platform
GT Biopharma carries a $13 million market capitalization despite holding an exclusive worldwide license from the University of Minnesota for its Tri-specific Killer Engager (TriKE) immunotherapy platform designed to engage natural killer cells against cancer cells.
2. GTB-3650 Blood Cancer Trial Progress
The lead TriKE candidate, GTB-3650, is in a Phase 1 dose-escalation trial for relapsed or refractory CD33-positive acute myeloid leukemia and high-risk myelodysplastic syndrome. Cohort 4 completed enrollment with eight patients and has advanced without dose-limiting toxicities, paving the way for up to seven cohorts and a planned data update in H2 2026.
3. GTB-5550 Solid Tumor Trial Launch
In May 2026, the first patient was dosed in the Phase 1 trial of GTB-5550 targeting B7-H3–expressing solid tumors, beginning with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer and expanding into a multi-tumor basket. The trial uses subcutaneous dosing to enhance patient convenience and addresses a market population significantly larger than liquid tumors.
