Guangzhou Development Zone subsidiary plans

Guangzhou Industry Investment Holding Group facilitated the establishment of Guangzhou Development Zone subsidiaries by Medtronic Leaf Medical Technology and QP Biopharma.

Both units plan to locate in the group’s International Enterprise Incubator Phase V, expanding its medtech and biopharma pipeline in Guangzhou.

The move targets buildout of a high-end interventional device cluster, alongside a push to strengthen Guangzhou’s pain-management drug segment.
