Guardant Health secured Carelon Healthcare Services coverage for its FDA-approved Shield blood test for colorectal cancer screening, effective Nov. 15.
The policy expands commercial access to about 90 million covered lives, roughly 75% of eligible U.S. adults age 45 and older.
Coverage applies to average-risk members under Carelon’s medical benefit management, which serves Blue Cross Blue Shield plans across 26 states.
