Carelon adds Shield to clinical guidelines
Guardant Health’s Shield blood test for colorectal cancer screening has been added to Carelon Health Services’ clinical guidelines, effective Nov. 15.
The update expands commercial coverage, lifting Shield’s total covered lives to about 90 million, or 75% of eligible U.S. patients.
