Guardian Metal Discovers Pilot Mountain Tremor Zone with 13.68m at 0.31% WO3
GMTL•Guardian Metal Resources identified a new Tremor Zone at its 100%-owned Pilot Mountain tungsten project in Nevada. Initial RC drillhole PMR26-077 intersected five skarn zones, including 13.68m grading 0.31% WO3 from 102.11m, and drilling has delineated the zone over ~400m strike with follow-up holes ongoing.
1. Discovery of Tremor Zone
Guardian Metal Resources detected a blind mineralised zone named Tremor Zone during condemnation drilling at Pilot Mountain. It lies under alluvial cover and highlights new exploration potential within the 100%-owned project.
2. Drill Intercepts and Strike Delineation
RC drillhole PMR26-077 intersected five skarn intervals including 13.68m at 0.31% WO3 from 102.11m. Follow-up holes PMR26-078 to PM26-097 have confirmed tungsten-bearing skarn over approximately 400m of strike length with drilling ongoing.
3. PFS Advancement and Defense Funding
The pre-feasibility study is nearing completion and remains flexible to include Tremor Zone data in future updates. Development is backed by a $6.2m U.S. Defense Production Act Title III investment, underscoring tungsten's strategic importance.
4. Exploration Outlook and Next Steps
Guardian Metal plans infill and step-out diamond drilling to define the Tremor Zone and evaluate its resource potential. Additional priority skarn targets across Pilot Mountain will be tested in parallel to boost project value.
