Guardian Metal Pays $1.3 Million for 841 Nevada Acres and 2,540 Acre-Feet Water Rights
GMTL•Guardian Metal Resources acquired Lincoln Estates Group LLC assets, securing 841 acres of land and 2,540 acre-feet of water rights near its Tempiute Tungsten Project for $1.3 million. The acquisition enhances project readiness by guaranteeing essential infrastructure assets and aligns with its goal to strengthen the U.S. tungsten supply chain.
1. Acquisition Details
Guardian Metal Resources acquired 841 acres of mixed-use land and 2,540 acre-feet of annual water rights from Lincoln Estates Group LLC for $1.3 million in cash through its U.S. subsidiary. The assets lie within 10 miles of the Tempiute Tungsten Project, bolstering the company’s local asset base.
2. Strategic Impact on Tempiute Project
This land package and water allocation secure critical infrastructure for dewatering and processing operations at the former producing mine, complementing existing facilities established in the 1980s. Management expects these assets to accelerate permitting and development timelines by providing guaranteed water access and site flexibility.
3. Financial and Operational Outlook
While the acquisition strengthens long-term project viability, Guardian Metal remains revenue-free and reports ongoing losses with constrained free cash flow. However, a debt-free balance sheet and alignment with domestic critical mineral initiatives support the company’s strategy to reduce U.S. dependence on imported tungsten.
