Gulf Resources posted a net loss of USD 43.92 million, narrowing 27% from the prior year.
Net revenue rose to USD 25.42 million, up 232% year over year, driven by bromine’s 314.4% jump to USD 23 million.
Operational updates
SYCI was sold in December, generating a USD 674,776 gain.
Bromine output rose to 6,024 tonnes, while crude salt volumes increased to 93,916 tonnes.
Profitability and margins
Gross profit swung to USD 2.16 million from a gross loss a year earlier, lifting gross margin to 8% from -93%.
Operating loss narrowed 61% to USD 8.57 million, while impairment of long-lived assets climbed to USD 30.07 million.
