Guyana government to probe ExxonMobil floating vessel after fire

Guyanese regulatory authorities will investigate a fire that broke out on Sunday at the Liza Unity floating production vessel, impacting operations, the government said on Monday.

Exxon said late on Sunday that all personnel on board were accounted for and no injuries were reported, but operations were suspended.

Exxon did not respond when asked on Monday about the status of operations on the 270,000-barrel-per-day vessel.
