Haemonetics Q2 revenue and adjusted EPS beat expectations

1. Quarterly results
Haemonetics’ fiscal second-quarter revenue was $357.8 million, beating the $345.0 million consensus estimate. Adjusted EPS was $1.35, compared with estimates of $1.29.
2. Updated outlook
The company raised its fiscal 2027 reported revenue growth guidance to 8%-11% from 5%-8%, and its organic revenue growth outlook to 6%-9% from 4%-7%. It lowered its adjusted operating-margin expansion guidance to 0-50 basis points from 50-100 basis points, while raising its free-cash-flow conversion outlook to more than 80% from about 80%.
3. Factors affecting results
Tariff refunds, a higher-margin product mix and the absence of a fair-value inventory step-up lifted gross margin. Higher personnel-related costs and freight charges increased operating expenses. Favorable payment and collection timing boosted operating cash flow, while higher capital spending weighed on free cash flow.
