Half of Agents Use AI Daily as Zillow Pro Unifies Tech Tools
Zillow’s 2026 Agent Trends Survey finds ease of use outranks cost for technology selection and shows typical agents use two to four tools weekly. Nearly half of agents use AI daily, and Zillow Pro’s forthcoming AI-powered platform will unify buyer insights, CRM and branding to reduce cognitive load.
1. Key Survey Findings
Zillow’s 2026 Agent Trends Survey reveals that ease of use has become the top selection criterion for agents, surpassing both cost and time savings. The report shows a typical agent relies on two to four different tools each week, with fragmented workflows cited as a drain on mental energy and productivity.
2. Rising AI Usage
Nearly 50% of agents now incorporate AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude into their daily routines, with team-based agents adopting AI more frequently than independents. However, about 25% of agents use AI less than once a week or not at all, and most clients have yet to adopt these technologies.
3. Zillow Pro Platform Plans
Zillow Pro, launching soon, will integrate buyer and seller insights from Zillow search data with an AI-powered CRM built on Follow Up Boss and premium branding tools. The unified platform aims to streamline workflows, reduce cognitive load and help agents focus on client relationships and deal closures.
