Hallador Energy closes USD 600 million senior secured term loan with Kennedy Lewis for Turtle Creek Gas project

The structure allows a super-priority revolving credit facility of up to USD 75 million, lifting total available financing to USD 675 million.
About USD 120 million will refinance existing debt, including a USD 45 million term loan and a USD 75 million revolving credit facility.
Kennedy Lewis provided the term loan. Proceeds will also support turbine purchase obligations, development costs, construction, and general corporate purposes.
Term loan closed to fund Turtle Creek Gas project
Hallador Energy closed a USD 600 million senior secured term loan facility on Sept. 15, 2026 to fund the 460-MW Turtle Creek Gas project.
The facility includes about USD 550 million funded at closing, plus a USD 50 million delayed-draw commitment available for 12 months.
