Hang Feng’s asset management arm secured a Type 1 securities dealing license from the Hong Kong SFC, enabling trade execution and distribution services to professional investors. Combined with its Type 4 and Type 9 virtual asset licences, the firm can now provide end-to-end advisory, asset management and securities dealing.
Hang Feng International Asset Management Limited received a Type 1 (Dealing in Securities) license from the Securities and Futures Commission, allowing it to deal in securities as both principal and agent. The approval permits product distribution, trade execution and related support services tailored to professional investors in Hong Kong.
This new license complements the firm’s existing Type 4 (Advising on Securities) and Type 9 (Asset Management) licences, enabling it to offer a seamless advisory, asset management and securities dealing service chain. Clients can now access a wider range of structured solutions and transaction services under one roof.
The licensing breakthrough enhances Hang Feng’s competitiveness as Hong Kong strengthens its status as an international financial hub. Management aims to leverage this expanded capability to drive revenue diversification, attract institutional clients and deepen market presence.
