Hansoh Pharma expands Roche partnership to develop cancer therapies
Hansoh Pharma entered a second antibody-drug conjugate collaboration with Roche covering two preclinical programs and additional targets proposed by Roche. The deal includes $400 million upfront, $110 million on the first anniversary, potential milestone payments exceeding $15 billion and tiered royalties on future sales.
1. Deal terms and rights
Under the collaboration, Roche takes over development after Phase Ia outside mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, where Hansoh retains rights. Hansoh also granted Roche an option to co-develop up to two programs outside those markets, which could provide additional U.S. commercialization upside.
