Harlan Electric completes Eversource New Hampshire S136 transmission line rebuild ahead of schedule

Project completion

Harlan Electric, a MYR Group unit, completed Eversource New Hampshire’s 27-mile S136 115-kV transmission rebuild from Whitefield to Berlin.

The project scope replaced more than 200 wood-pole structures with light-duty steel, installed new 1272 ACSS conductor, and added one OPGW line.

Construction and schedule

Harlan Electric self-performed drilling for more than 450 direct-embed foundations, supporting schedule control across shifting permit and outage windows.

Line construction finished in March 2026, months ahead of schedule; restoration work concluded in June.
