Harmony Gold names Frans “Faan” Lombard lead independent director

Leadership changes to board committees

Harmony Gold Mining appointed Frans (“Faan”) Lombard chair of the nomination committee, effective Aug. 14, 2026.

Lombard also took over as lead independent director on Aug. 14, 2026.

Dr. Mavuso Msimang stepped down from both roles.

Lombard previously joined the audit and risk committee, announced Jan. 17, 2025.
