Enviri’s Harsco Environmental division signed a 10-year contract to design, build, commission, operate and maintain a metal recovery and slag processing plant at LMEL’s integrated steel facility in Maharashtra, India. The deal, set to start in 2027, will create 54 local jobs and expand the company’s Indian footprint.
1. Contract Scope and Timeline
Harsco Environmental, a division of Enviri Corporation, will undertake the design, build, commissioning, operation and maintenance of a metal recovery and slag processing plant at Lloyds Metals and Energy Limited’s integrated steel facility in Maharashtra. The agreement spans from 2027 through 2037, covering all phases of plant development and ongoing operational support.

The 10-year contract will create 54 new positions in the region and significantly enhance Enviri’s footprint in India.
