Hartford names finance executive James Yanosy as chief risk officer
HIG•The Hartford named James M. Yanosy chief risk officer, effective Nov. 2, reporting to CEO Christopher Swift. Chief risk officer Prateek Chhabra and chief data, AI and operations officer Jeffery Hawkins will leave at year-end.
1. Leadership changes
Yanosy has served as CFO for business insurance, employee benefits, claims and centralized services since 2019. He joined The Hartford in 2003 and previously worked at American Skandia and Arthur Andersen. Data and artificial intelligence will move under CIO Shekar Pannala, formerly global CIO at Chubb.
