1. Q1 Earnings and Revenue Performance

Hasbro reported first-quarter net earnings of $198.4 million, more than double the $98.6 million earned in Q1 2025. Total revenue rose 13% to $1,000.2 million, and adjusted earnings per diluted share climbed to $1.47.

2. Wizards of the Coast Segment Strength

The Wizards of the Coast and Digital Gaming segment generated $582.0 million in revenue, a 26% increase. Magic: The Gathering card sets accounted for $469.6 million, up 36%, while the mobile game Monopoly Go! added $41 million.

3. Consumer Products and Entertainment Results

Consumer Products revenue held essentially flat at $397.9 million, with an operating loss widening to $47.5 million partly due to $8.3 million in tariff costs. Entertainment revenue fell 24% to $20.3 million but returned to profitability with $17.3 million in operating profit.

4. Network Intrusion and Full-Year Outlook

A late-March network intrusion was contained with outside cybersecurity support, and related legal and remediation expenses will hit Q2, with insurance claims underway. Hasbro reaffirmed full-year guidance of 3%–5% constant-currency revenue growth and $1.40–$1.45 billion in adjusted EBITDA.
