Hasbro’s Wizards of the Coast partners with G2 Esports in long-term collaboration
HAS•Wizards of the Coast teams up with G2 Esports
Hasbro’s Wizards of the Coast entered a long-term partnership with esports group G2 to feature its games on G2’s Counter-Strike jersey.
The collaboration starts with Exodus, a sci-fi action RPG developed by Wizards studio Archetype Entertainment, as the first featured title.
The Exodus-branded jersey debuts at the Esports World Cup on Aug. 12, when G2 plays M80.
Future jersey designs will rotate in other Wizards titles over the term, building an evolving merchandise and marketing platform tied to esports audiences.
