Hawaiian Airlines Debuts oneworld A330 Livery with Hawaiian Phrase and $20K Donations
ALK•Hawaiian Airlines unveiled oneworld branding on an Airbus A330, featuring the Hawaiian-language phrase “Aloha a puni ka honua” to mark its first alliance entry and extend connectivity across 1,000 destinations via 15 partner carriers. The airline donated $10,000 each to ʻIolani Palace and the Polynesian Voyaging Society.
1. oneworld Livery Unveiled
On June 30, Hawaiian Airlines revealed its first oneworld alliance–branded aircraft, an Airbus A330, at its Honolulu maintenance facility. The livery incorporates the phrase "Aloha a puni ka honua" in ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi alongside the airline’s iconic Pualani tail design and a maile lei wrapping the fuselage.
2. Cultural Donations
To celebrate the milestone, the airline contributed $10,000 each to ʻIolani Palace and the Polynesian Voyaging Society, two longstanding partners dedicated to preserving Hawaiian culture and traditions. These donations reflect Hawaiian’s commitment to supporting its heritage as it expands global brand awareness.
3. Alliance Benefits and Loyalty Integration
As a new oneworld member, Hawaiian Airlines now offers passengers access to nearly 1,000 destinations served by 15 partner carriers. Atmos Rewards members can earn and redeem points across all oneworld airlines, enjoy equivalent Ruby, Sapphire or Emerald status, and access premium lounges, priority boarding and additional baggage allowances.
